Become an official member to take advantage of everything that AED has to offer. Potential AED members are required to fill out an application and go through an interview process with one of the officers. Contact any officer by email and set up an appointment. Be sure to take a look at AED Merchandise if you are interested! Also, please attach your form of payment (cash or check made to UW AED) to the application and bring it to your interview. Interviews are informal, but be prepared to tell us why you want to be a part of AED!

 

There are two types of memberships:

 

(1) Affiliate Membership - $25 per academic year

Associate membership is valid for one year and must be renewed every academic year (each September). This membership entitles members to all of the services provided by our organization. Associate members will be inducted into the Chapter and given a membership certificate. There are no grade point or credit requirements for Associate Membership.

(2) National Membership - $75 (one-time fee)

You must be an Associate Member for at least one year before applying for National Membership. If you're interested in a lifelong AED National Membership recognized by the official AED National Office in Virginia, please read the description from the National Office for instructions how to be entered into the permanent AED registry of lifelong members.
